How do I setup Eudora 6.X for E-mail?

This is the email software that OT uses. The software is available for free from Eudora. It is available in bot h Mac and PC versions.

  1. Open Eudora by double-clicking the Eudora icon on your desktop

  2. When Eudora opens for the first time, the New Account Wizard will start. Click Next to continue

  3. On the Account Settings screen, make sure to select Create a brand new email account and then click Next

  4. On the Personal Information screen, type your name as you would like it to appear in your outgoing e-mail, and click Next to continue

  5. The Email Address screen provides space to type in your e-mail address. Once it has been entered, click Next to continue

  6. On the Incoming Email Server screen, type in mail.yourdomain.com as your Incoming Server:. Make sure that POP is select, and then click Next to continue

  7. On the Outgoing Email Server screen, type in mail.yourdomain.com as your Outgoing Server:. Make sure that Allow authentication is not selected, and then click Next to continue

  8. You have now completed the setup process for Eudora. Click Finish to begin sending and receiving mail with Eudora.

  9. When Eudora checks the mail server to see if you have new messages, it will prompt you to enter your password.

  10. If you would rather have Eudora remember your password (instead of having to type it in every time), click Tools in the top menu, and select Options from the drop-down list

  11. On the Options window, make sure that Save password is selected and click OK. The next time you enter your password in Eudora, it will be saved so that you don't have to enter it in every time
